MyzonePad Connector Privacy Policy
MyzonePad Connector helps MyzonePad complete GitHub OAuth login. The extension does not collect, sell, share, or transmit personal information to developer-operated servers.
What This Extension Does
MyzonePad Connector runs on supported MyzonePad pages and helps exchange a GitHub OAuth authorization code for a GitHub OAuth access token. This allows MyzonePad to connect to GitHub after you approve GitHub authorization.
Chrome Permissions
MyzonePad Connector does not request Chrome extension API permissions such as storage, tabs, activeTab, identity, cookies, history, or scripting.
The extension requests access to https://github.com/* only so its background service worker can exchange the GitHub OAuth authorization code for an access token. This permission is not used to read GitHub pages, repository contents, browser history, cookies, passwords, or unrelated browsing data.
The extension is also loaded on supported MyzonePad pages through content script URL matches so it can detect the GitHub OAuth callback for MyzonePad.
Information Processed
During GitHub login, the extension may temporarily process the following OAuth data:
- GitHub OAuth authorization code
- OAuth state value
- PKCE code verifier
- GitHub OAuth access token returned by GitHub
How Information Is Used
The OAuth data is used only to complete GitHub login for MyzonePad. After login, MyzonePad may use the GitHub access token to call GitHub APIs based on the permissions you approve in GitHub.
Data Storage
The returned GitHub access token is stored in the MyzonePad page's browser localStorage so MyzonePad can use it during your session. The extension does not use chrome.storage and does not store this token on any developer-operated server.
Data Sharing
MyzonePad Connector does not sell, rent, transfer, or share user data. OAuth data is used only for the GitHub login flow.
Remote Servers
MyzonePad Connector does not send OAuth codes, access tokens, repository data, or personal information to any server controlled by the developer. During authentication, GitHub is contacted only to complete the OAuth token exchange.
Site Access
The extension is designed to run only on supported MyzonePad pages, such as local development pages and MyzonePad pages hosted on GitHub Pages. It does not run on unrelated websites.
User Control
You can remove the stored GitHub access token by logging out of MyzonePad, clearing site data for the MyzonePad page, or uninstalling the extension. You can also revoke GitHub OAuth access from your GitHub account settings.
Changes To This Policy
This policy may be updated if MyzonePad Connector changes how it handles data. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
